تنمو فوق المنحدرات الصخرية الجافة، وتنتج صمغاً عطرياً عالي الجودة كان يُشكل عماد التجارة القديمة مع الإمبراطوريات التاريخية. Perches on rocky dry slopes, secreting a high-grade aromatic resin that was a cornerstone of ancient trade routes with historical empires.

من أكبر أنواع الأبراص بالمنطقة، ينشط في ظلام الليل للتغذي على الحشرات بين الشقوق الصخرية والجدران الطينية القديمة. One of the largest geckos in the region, strictly nocturnal, hunting insects in limestone cliff cracks and traditional mud wall crevices.

ثعبان نحيل ورشيق للغاية وغير سام، يتميز بنمطه المخطط وسرعته الفائقة في تسلق الصخور والأشجار بحثاً عن طرائده. A slender, non-venomous snake species, highly agile, and displaying dynamic scale patterns. It chases lizards across granite rocks.

تسكن المياه الدافئة المحيطة باليمن، وتفد بالآلاف للتعشيش ووضع البيض على الشواطئ الرملية النقية المحمية في المحافظات الساحلية وسقطرى. Inhabiting warm Yemeni currents, green sea turtles come by the thousands to nest on undisturbed sandy shores in coastal regions and Socotra.

سرطان صخري ذو لون أحمر ناري يتباين مع زرقة البحر، يركض بمهارة عالية فوق الصخور الرطبة عند حافة المد والجزر بالبحر الأحمر. A fiery-red crab species that jumps and runs along slippery intertidal boulders in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

تمتد في مناطق الجوف ومأرب وشبوة لتتصل بصحراء الربع الخالي، وهي عبارة عن كثبان رملية ذهبية شاسعة تحتضن بقايا سدود وحضارات سبأ وقتبان القديمة. Spanning Al Jawf, Marib, and Shabwah to connect with the Empty Quarter, these vast gold dunes conceal relics of Sabaean and Qatabanian reservoir engineering.
